About The PPOA

Placentia’s colorful history began in 1837 when the governor of Mexico granted the Rancho San Juan Cajon De Santa Ana to Juan Ontiveros. This land grant included the area that today comprises Placentia, Anaheim, Fullerton, and La Habra.  Today, Placentia is still a fast-growing community with 45,000 residents, beautiful suburban homes, good schools, stately churches, and wholesome recreation.

We hope the members of the Placentia Police Association and of our fine community, find this website helpful and informative. We would like the website to serve as a tool to facilitate an effective means of communication between our valued members and the community we serve.

Our goal as an Association is to ensure that our membership receives the tools it needs to better serve and protect the public, our children, businesses, homes, property, and the dream of a better future for our families.

To help us better serve you and our community we share, please feel free to join our mission by participating in any of our events or donating toward our cause.
