Every year the Placentia Police Officers' Association donates money and time to benefit numerous charities, groups and organizations in Placentia and throughout Orange County.

Placentia Neighborhood Watch"It is the mission of the Placentia Neighborhood Watch Program, through the assistance and sponsorship of the Placentia Police Department, to actively seek, educate and involve city residents, neighborhoods and communities in "A Partnership in Crime Prevention" through the development of crime awareness, observation skills training and reporting." - Placentia Neighborhood Watch
"The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Placentia Police Canine Foundation
"Raise funds for Placentia Police Department K-9 Unit. This could include rasing costs of training, food, equipment, and possibly obtaining a third dog for the unit." - Placentia Police Canine Foundation
National Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial Fund (NLEOMF)
"The mission of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is to generate increased public support for the law enforcement profession by permanently recording and appropriately commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers; and to provide information that will help promote law enforcement safety." - NLEOMF
California Peace Officers' Memorial Foundation (CPOMF)
"The California Peace Officers' Memorial Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation whose mission is to recognize and honor California's peace officers who gave their lives "In The Line of Duty" serving the citizens of this great state, and provide support to the family members left behind." - CPOMF
Officers' Give Hope (OGH)"Officers Give Hope is a multi-agency law enforcement effort dedicated to hosting marrow donor drives in the hopes of finding a match for those patients awaiting a life-saving transplant. Officers Give Hope has located donors for patients throughout the United States suffering from leukemia and other blood diseases. Those who have participated in the donation process have described it as an incredible experience." - Officers' Give Hope
Miracles For Kids"Miracles for Kids is a non-profit organization based in Orange County, California. Their mission is to improve the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.This mission is carried out with the following programs:
